Do You Have What it Takes to be a Good School Board Member?
"Education cannot be expected to solve everything, but it is increasingly clear that it is the one social institution
that has the potential to make a major difference for humanity in a troubled world."
From The Governance Core by Davis Campbell & Michael Fullan
Educating our children is essential to the well-being of our local communities and to the success of our nation. While it can be a complex challenge, it can also be one of the most rewarding public services in which a person may engage. If you are considering running for election to your local school board of education,
please join us for a free virtual workshop to learn about the roles, responsibilities, time commitments, and decisions of school boards.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED*; the Zoom link and materials will be emailed to you prior to your meeting date.
Our WORKSHOP FOR PROSPECTIVE SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS is being offered at two different times. Choose the session that works best with your schedule:
Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
